Western Times: Thursday 14th May 1896

Highweek: Mr. W. S. Pinsent presided at Monday’s meeting. The Clerk read a list of the parish documents which were in his possession, a copy of which he had forwarded to the County Council as requested … (discussion of the need for new parish rooms) … At the request of the Charity Commissioners, it was resolved to submit the following names of gentlemen willing to act as Trustees of Bearne’s Charity to fill up the vacancies: Mr. J. Beare, engineer, Mr. J. Alsop solicitor and Mr. W. S. Pinsent, merchant.
