The funeral of the late Mr. John Hellier, of the Dolphin Hotel, Bovey Tracey (Joll and Hellier) took place on Thursday, at Bovey Tracey Cemetery in the presence of a large gathering. R. J. Wickham officiated. Wreaths and crosses were sent by the widow and family; Mrs. W. J. Loveys and family, Summerfield; Miss B. and Masters W. J. and Jasper Lovell, Mr. and Mrs. Holman, the Bovey Football Club, J. Hellier (brother), J. and E. Hellier (St. John’s Cottages), Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Ellis, Mrs. Lee and family, workmen and servants, “Aggie”, (nephew), “Willie,” William Swain Pinsent, “Tom and Ellen”, “John and Nellie,” and “Old Friends and Whitstone”.
