The Fatal Boiler Explosion at Darlston: Yesterday, Mr. E. Hooper (coroner) held an inquest at the Town Hall, Wednesbury, on the body of Israel Durfield (19) who was killed at the South Staffordshire Tramway Company’s Depot in Darlston, on Friday morning. The company was represented by Mr. A. Dickinson (general manager), Mr. H. Hatchett (secretary), Mr. Tibbits, (traffic superintendent), and Mrs. F. Eden Smith (from the office of Messrs. Smith, Pinsent and Co.), and Mrs. Elliot (Messrs Duigan and Elliot) attended on behalf of the Law Accident and Contingent Company
