At Bovey Tracey Vestry meeting the Churchwardens, Messrs. J. L. Joll and W. Mann, were re-elected, and, in view the introduction of the Parish Council changes November next, the Waywardens, Allotments’ Wardens, and members of the Burial Board (with the exception that Mr. Godsland was chosen to take the place of Mr. Pinsent, deceased) were re-elected. On the consideration of a proposal by Mr. E. Endacott to improve the Vestry Hall and its surroundings, it transpired that the upper part only belongs to the parish, the under being leased. It was decided to inspect the lease. It was resolved that those who use the water cart in future must pay for the water. The Sanitary Committee instructed to consider the question of supplying the inhabitants of the Pottery with water.
