Chard Rovers v. Axminster: The Rovers scored a decisive victory at Axminster on Saturday by 2 goals and 1 “drop” goal (14 points) to nil. Throughout, the Devonians were exceedingly weak having to touch down eight times in self-defence. H. Pinsent did his utmost to avert the inevitable, and his play was much admired.
