Wolborough Easter Vestry, 1791: 100 Years Ago: Present Robert Bartlett, George Whidborne, Edward Henley, John Bearne, Richard Ford, William Flamank, Thomas Babb, Thomas Pinsent, and John Hannaford. The Parish Accounts for the past year, amounting to £3969 9s 3 1/2d., were passed. We nominate Mr. Thomas Knight Sweeting and Mr. Joseph Doke, to be overseers of the Poor of this Parish fur the year ensuing. I promise to provide for in Physick and Surgery, all such of the Parish of Wolborough as are chargeable or shall become so from the date hereof, till Easier next year on the usual terms, eight guineas. — George Whidboune.
