Birmingham Police Court: Yesterday: Before Messrs. Colmore, (stip.), Jacobs, Shammon, Timmins, Tangye, Hart, Middlemore and Marris: Robbery from a Brewery: Joseph Ray (26) carter, Sheep Street, and Edward Edmunds (20), glass-blower, Princip Street, were charged on remand with stealing a copper refrigerator from a brewery at the rear of the Salutation beerhouse, Snow Hill. Mr. Freeman (Smith, Pinsent and Company) prosecuted on behalf of the Holt Brewery Company, to whom the property belongs. ….
