SOMERTON: Church and Bible Classes: — On Thursday the scholars of the above school, and Mrs. Valentine’s Young Women’s Bible Class, together with the Young Men’s Bible Class had their annual “outing” when they journeyed to Burton Pynsent. The weather was beautifully fine. After tea various games were indulged in, and most enjoyable time was spent. Church Sunday School Treat: — On Thursday afternoon the annual outing of the St. Michael’s Church Sunday Schools and Mrs. Valentine’s Bible Class took place at Burton Pynsent. The weather was beautifully fine, and all left the Monteclete School in brakes and waggonettes supplied Mrs. Coomer and Mr. Manning. After tea the evening was spent in a variety of games, and altogether the “outing” was much enjoyed.
