Sale of White Lead: Acton Against a Birmingham Company: At the Victoria Courts, Birmingham, yesterday, before Mr. H. Payton (in the chair) and Mr. E. J. Round, Mr. Hedley Miller, acting as secretary of the White Lead Trade Section of the London Chamber of Commerce, summoned Messrs. Docker Bros. Ltd., Icknield Port Road, Birmingham, that they did “unlawfully sell certain goods, to wit, two kegs purporting to contain white lead to which a false trade description, namely the words “ground white lead” was applied contrary to the provisions of the Merchandise Marks Act, 1887, Section 2.” Mr. Bartlett prosecuted, and Mr. Joy (instructed by Messrs.
