Vicary: The license of the Queen’s Hotel, Newton Abbot was temporarily transferred from Mr. William Beer, to Mr. George Worth of Torquay: Rev. R. Blake, Rev. W. H. Payne and Messrs. J. Turner, W. Sercombe, W. H. Heath, G. Pinsent, J. Tucker, G. Tucker, W. Pascoe, R. M. Carpenter and A. Wyatt were summoned for refusing to pay the education portion of the Poor-rate.
