New Company:  Sharpness Chemical Co., Ltd., has just been registered with capital £10,000 in £1 shares to acquire the business of tar distillers and manufacturers of other chemical substances carried on at Sharpness by J. Anderson as the Sharpness Chemical Co., and to carry on the business of tar distillers, manufacturers of and dealers in tar, pitch, creosote, ammoniac-al liquor, oils, naphtha, grease, soap, candles, paints, varnishes, dyes, chemicals, residual products, etc. The subscribers are T. Clayton, The Cedars, Castle Bromwich, canal carrier; Mr. S. Clayton, The Cedars, Castle Bromwich; T. B. Clayton, The Cedars, Castle Bromwich, carrier; H. C. Pinsent, 6 Bennetts-hill, Birmingham, solicitor; R. A. Pinsent, 6 Bennetts-hill, Birmingham, solicitor; F. Clayton, Holmesdale, Grosvenor-street, Coventry, manager; and A. W. Freeman, 6 Bennetts-hill, Birmingham, solicitor. No initial public issue. The number of directors is not to be more than five: T. Clayton is the first; qualification 500 shares; remuneration of T. Clayton, £200 per annum; of other directors, as fixed by the company.
