Society; entertainments, Balls, etc.: A charming ship dance was given by Captain Arbuthnot and the officers of H.M.S. Cambridge, Devonport, last week. The guests were conveyed aboard by launches and ships’ boats, and when they reached the improvised ballroom afloat it was found to be most original and picturesque in the scheme of decoration.
