Western Times: Friday 28th December 1900

Rugby: At Totness a very pleasant game took place on Wednesday afternoon between Totnes and Old Totnesians. Early in the game L. Stoyle scored for the first named who afterwards forced several minors. The Old Boys, however, several times came near to scoring, and once, Pinsent dribbled over but no score was allowed. Totnes obtained several minors. Towards the end Totnes had to defend frequently but they won by a try to nil.
