Rugby: Totnes fell away surprisingly in the second half. Their weakest spot was at fullback. Ford displayed much nervousness. The visitors were also weak at centre three-quarters, F. Kinsman was off-colour owing probably to an injured ankle. Pinsent was also poor, but the wings – L. and E. Stoyle – were distinctly good.
