Results of the September Costume Designs Competition: In spite of the fact that readers have been repeatedly reminded that these competitions are not set to encourage extravagance but to afford an opportunity of displaying individuality and ingenuity in designing fashions, many competitors have chosen very expensive fabrics and costly fur trimmings much elaboration of detain for their afternoon frock. Needless to say, these have not been awarded the prizes.
