A Cheery Dance: Pleasant Mikado Programme; Very cheery was the private subscription dance, organized by Miss Storey, which came off most successfully on Wednesday evening, at the Mikado, Palmerston Road, Southsea. It proved a smart function, and all the young people enjoyed themselves immensely, there being no lake of partners for the various dances. Nearly all the men belonged to the Services, but on this occasion came in ordinary “Black and White attire.”.
