Honorary Music Degree Conferred: At the meeting of the Directors of the Royal Academy of Music held recently, Miss Francis M. Pinsent, L.R.A.M., was unanimously elected as Association of the Institute (A.R.A.M.) in recognition of her teaching. This is an honorary distinction, not obtained by examination, which is sometimes conferred on past students who have distinguished themselves.
