Belgrave Ward Liberal Association: The annual meeting of this association was held at the Nonconformist Schoolroom Ald. R. Hilton, president, was in the chair and was supported by Mr. H. Waddington (Board of Guardian), Councillor G. E. Hilton. Messrs. G.  Pincent, T. Hasaell. J. Appleton, and J W. Clayton (Hon. secretary) and a fair attendance of members. Mr. H. Waddington proposed and Mr. G. Pincent seconded the re-election of Ald. Hilton as president, each paying tribute to the work accomplished by him as a staunch supporter of the Liberal cause. In moving the re-election of Mr. J. W. Clayton as Hon. secretary, Ald. Hilton testified to the excellent service Mr. Clayton had rendered in that capacity and Mr. G. Pincent, Mr. H. Waddington, and Mr. J. Dennis endorsed the chairman’s remarks. — Mr. J. W. Burton. Mr. R. Hallam, Councillor G. E. Hilton, Councillor S. Hudson, Mr. W. Minchen, and Mr. H.  Waddington were re-elected vice-presidents, Mr. A Wilkes hon. treasurer and Messrs. T. Hassell and W. Minchen auditors — Other officials elected were representatives to Melton Liberal Executive. Mr. G. Bates. Mr. E. Clayton, Mr. G. Clayton, Mr. J. W. Clayton, Mr. R. Hallam, Mr. J. R. Hartsborn, Mr. W. Minchen, and Mr. A Walsom. Ward Captains, Messrs. G. Bates, C. Beck, J. Clayton, J. Dennis, D. Eyton, A. Gask, T. Hassell, H. Howard, E. Johnson, M. Calow, G. Pinsent, C. Preston, H. Rimmington, C. Taylor, A. Walsom and J. Goddard. Representatives to Leicester Liberal Executive: Messrs. G. Bates, J. R. Hartshorn, R. Hallam, W. Minchen, G. Pincent, H. Rimmington, A.
