Chudleigh: The annual parish meeting was held at the Town Hall on Tuesday evening, the whole proceedings lasting about ten minutes. Mr. R. M. Ellis presided. The statement of account of the Chudleigh Charities showed receipts £128 6s 6d, expenditure £99 15s 3d. leaving a balance in hand of £28 11s 3d. The receipts of Pynsent’s Grammar School Foundation totalled £134 18s 1d, and expenses £70 leaving a balance of £64 18s 1d. ….
