Mental Defectives: The Langdon Farm Proposal: With regard to the proposed colony for mental defectives at Langdon Farm, Devon, the Committee for the Care of the Mentally Defective will inform Devon County Council tomorrow that a member of the Board of Control recently intimated that the Board would be willing to assist at any meeting of the representatives of the managers and the legal advisers which might be called to consider the position arising from the decision which the Council made at their last meeting. In view of the instructions given the legal advisers at the conference in May 1928, a meeting was held at the Castle of Exeter on November 14th, when Mr. Brock (Chairman of the Board) took the chair.
