Golden Wedding: Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Pinsent, of Selly Wick, Birmingham, were the recipients of congratulations on Tuesday when they celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their wedding, which took place at Walmley Parish Church on August 7, 1878. Mr. Pinsent, who is the senior partner in the firm of Pinsent and Co., solicitors, was President of the Law Society in 1918-19, and his eminence the law was further recognised last month when the University of Birmingham conferred upon him the honorary degree of LL.D. Mrs. Pinsent is the youngest daughter of the late Thomas Ryland, of Erdington, and sister of the late Mr. Sydney Proctor Ryland, of Cheltenham.
