Widcombe Manor: Forthcoming Sale by Auction “The Gem of Bath”: Much more than local interest will be stirred in Bath on the 23rd inst. when Widcombe Manor, which has been termed “the gem of Bath,” comes under the Auctioneer’s hammer. … (description of property) … The auctioneers are Messrs. Frank Matthews and Co., of 17 Newhall Street Birmingham, and the solicitors, Messrs. Pinsent and Co. 6 Bennett’s Hill, Birmingham and Messrs. Smiles and Co. 15 Bedford Row, London W.C. 1. The sale will take place at the Fernley Hotel at 3 p.m. on the 23rd inst.
