Equal Rights: Motorists & Pedestrians And The Roads: Torquay Prosecutions: The recent accident on the Torbay Road, Torquay, to Baroness Van der Werff, a Dutch visitor to Torquay, who has been staying a the Torbay Hotel, had its sequel at the Torquay Police Court this morning when Gerald Swan (sic) Pinsent, a youth residing at Woodcot, Morin Road, Paignton, was summoned for riding a motorcycle to the danger of the public on the Torbay road on June 21 … (details of accident) … The justices imposed a penalty of 40s with £3 10s 0d costs and ordered the defendant’s license to be endorsed.
