The day’s proceedings opened with the despatch of No. 1 organ to Newton, Kingsteignton, Ideford, and Luton; the motor lorry being kindly lent by the Devon Gas Association, those assisting being A J. Page, W. J. Elson, W. Pinsent, P. Heathman, W. Bowden, J. Price, junr., and J. Price, driver. No. 2 organ started later for Chudleigh-Knighton, Heathfield, Hennock, Tap Village, and Trusham, the motor lorry being kindly lent by Mr. W. F. Pearce, those assisting being A. J. Bowden, A. F.
