Hockey: East Sussex trial Game: This trial, the first of its kind, was played on the Grasshoppers’ ground, Filsham Road, St. Leonard’s, on the 9th inst. It was very successful in unearthing one or two excellent players. Higgins, C. Higgins, Johnson, Lermitt, Lovell, Major Pinsent, Pearce, Reay, Streeter, West, Westropp and Woolley.
