Glass Demonstration: The making of paper flowers was the subject of an artistic demonstration given by Mrs. Mackay, Knock, to Glass W.R.I. — Mrs. Duncan presiding. She presented a box and some bouquets for prizes. The new committee were appointed: — President: Mrs. Pinsent, Edinglassie Lodge; vice-president, Mrs. Duncan, Edinglassie; secretary, Mrs. Watson; treasurer, Mrs. Mackie; committee —Mrs. Duncan, Belnaboth; Mrs. Fraser, Beldorney; Mrs. Macbain, Mrs. Gardyne, Mrs. Smith, Haugh; and Mrs. Watt, Blairmore Cottages. The competition for the best six eggs resulted: —1, Mrs. Duncan, Edinglassie: 2, Mrs. Anderson, Beldorney; 3, Mrs. Mackie, Edinglassie Kennels. The eggs were given to Huntly Jubilee Cottage Hospital. Votes of thanks were by Mrs. Duncan to Mrs. Mackay for her excellent demonstration, and to the hostesses, Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. Paterson, and Miss Wilson.
