Birmingham’s Wonder Institution for Youth: Marvels of the New Kyrle Hall: Playground is on the Roof: Air, Too Are High: … (description of Boys’ and Girls’ Union and new hall) … … Bright Window Boxes: To perpetuate in a minor way that aim of the Kyrle Society, and to brighten that section of Birmingham in which it is placed, the new Kyrle Hall features flower boxes at every window, giving the building an additionally pleasing appearance. The cost of the new Kyrle Hall is in the neighbourhood of £26,000, of which approximately £20,400 has already been raided by voluntary subscription. Mr. Roy Pinsent, who laid the foundation stone at the end of last year, contributed £10,000.
