Glass’s Jelly Awards: Glass W.R.I. Mrs. Couper of Logie gave interesting talk on the different countries she had visited, and also showed dolls dressed in the national dress of the various countries. In a competition for green gooseberry jelly, Mrs. Mackie, Chapelhill, got first prize, and Mrs. Watt, Blairmore Cottages, second prize. Votes of thanks were given by Mrs. Duncan to the hostesses — Miss Gauld, Haugh; Mrs. Gauld, Auldyne; Miss Gauld, Parkhaugh; and Miss Fraser, Beldorney. A special vote of thanks was also given to Mrs. Pinsent, Edinglassie Lodge, who provided the prizes for the competition.
