WINCHESTER SCOUTS’ SPORTS: Winchester Boy Scouts and Cubs held their annual sports on Saturday afternoon at the College Meads. The programme was a varied one and comprised competitions for all the lads from those under 10 years to those over 15. … In the Scouts’ events there was a rare race for points between the 7th and 12th troops, but the former gained a substantial lead towards the end of the competitions and so brought off “a double.” Major J. R. Pincent, D.S.0. a member of Winchester City Education Committee, was the referee.
