“Open Space” Decision: Woman’s Dispute with Council: Ministry Inquiry at Brixham: An inquiry was held in Brixham Town Hall yesterday by Mr. A. W. H. Brown (Ministry of Health) relative to an appeal made to the Ministry by Mr. D. M. Waterson on behalf of Miss A. M. M. Hogg, of Berry Head House, against a decision of Brixham Council. The Council had decided not to allow the development of the property known as the Old Royal Naval Reserve Battery for conversion of a shed thereon into a private residence, the objection raised being that the space had been zoned by the Regional Town Planning Committee as an open space ….
