Aberystwyth College: Events of the Week: … “That this House deplores the present system of Education” was the subject of the staff debate at the Debates’ Union on Friday Evening. Mr. Idris Thomas the president was the chairman. Prof. T. A. Levi, seconded by Mr. Sidney Herbert opened in the affirmative and Mr. A.R. Wing, seconded by Mr. A. Pinsent, led in the negative. The motion was carried by 315 votes to 139.
