Colin George Pinsent was the only son of Raymond George Pinsent by his wife, Ruby Margaret (née Anderson). He was born in Melbourne and grew up there with an older half-sister. His life is poorly documented; however, the Electoral Records show that he was a “service man” living with a “xxxx Pinsent” at “#6 East Court,” Burwood, in East Yarra, Victoria in 1977. Presumably he had married sometime in the late 1960s or early 1970s. Interestingly, the Electoral Rolls also show him living with his parents in Glen Iris in 1977 and his wife being in sole possession of the house in East Yarra! She was still there in 1980. They may have been going through a divorce around then. I am not aware of them having had children.

Colin married again and they were living in “Portland Street”, in the Mulgrave district of Bruce, in Victoria in 1980. Colin was “sales manager”.  They had at least three children, including sons, in the years that followed. One of the latter appears to have been was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1983. More than that, I know very little about the family.

Colin died in March 2013 (Victoria Herald Sun: 15th March 2013). His line may well continue.
