Many clippings are available as individual entries tagged with the identifying number (e.g., a GROID) of those referenced if they are known.
British Newspaper Archive newspaper entries are tagged with “BNA“. However, the easiest way to explore the articles is using the entry-specific tags (date, newspaper, identifying number) or the search engine.
These entries are adapted from PDF documents collecting the transcribed newspaper entries by decade. These collections also embed identifying numbers where available.
Articles and excerpts are transcribed in whole or part from scanned originals. They sometimes include modified text and punctuation. For absolute accuracy, refer to the original newspapers.
