Glass’s Party to Children: Members’ children were entertained by Glass W.R.I. at a Christmas party in the parish hall. Games and competitions were entered into with great zest. Prizes were given to the different competitors. Tea was provided, with bradies and biscuits. The feature of the evening was when Mrs. Pinsent, president, came to the hall with a balloon for each child. She also cut a huge Christmas cake and the Masters Pinsent handed round a piece to each person. Votes of thanks were given to the Commander and Mrs. Pinsent and family for their kindness.
