Glass Birthday: Mrs. Pinsent, Edinglassie Lodge, presided when Glass W.R.I. celebrated its thirteenth birthday. Whist was enjoyed by the members, and prize-winners were Miss Whyte, Miss Dey, Miss Brander and Mrs. Fraser, consolation, Mrs. Leith. Mrs. Pinsent gifted and presented prizes, and also cut the birthday cake. Songs were given by Miss Young and Miss Shand. Mrs. Duncan, Mrs. Anderson. Miss Gauld and Miss Spruce were tea hostesses.
