Bristol Anglers Fined at Axbridge: Fished at Congresbury Without Licences: Thomas Toogood, of Upper Belgrave Road Bristol, S. E. Pinsent, Stokes Croft, Bristol; H. S. Purringham, Sea Mills, Bristol, and R. H. Lalonde, Worsley Road, Bishopston, were summoned at Axbridge Police Court yesterday, by Alexander Mackenzie, head water bailiff of the Board of Conservators of the Avon, Parrett, and Brue fishing district for fishing for trout without licences. Mr. Teek who prosecuted, said the men were seen on Easter Monday fishing at Congresbury. Pinsent said he had a licence at home, but it was found that he had not taken out a licence until two days after the offence. The others had been given the opportunity to take out licences but had not done so up to the date the summonses had been issued. Pinsent, who appeared, was fined £1 and the other three £2 each.
