Glass Demonstration: To members of Glass W.R.I. — Mrs. Pinsent presiding — an instructive demonstration on wool rug-making was given by Mrs. Anderson. In a competition judged by Mrs. Pinsent and Mrs. Ingleby, the awards were: — Gooseberry jelly—1, Mrs. Morrison; 2, Mrs. Barron; strawberry jam — 1, Mrs. Shand; 2, Mrs. Paterson. Mrs. Cameron gave pianoforte selections, and Mrs. Ingleby delighted with three songs. Miss Brander, Mrs. Gordon, Mrs. Smith, and Miss Whyte were hostesses.
