Hockey: Broadway Ladies v. Gloucester Ladies’ II: Broadway Ladies entertained Gloucester Ladies II on Saturday last, when an enjoyable game ended in favour of the home team by 6 – 2. The home team played well, and were fortunate in two new members, A. Allen, and L. Pynsent, both of whom proved acquisitions. W. M. Clarke made her first appearance as a goalkeeper and did good work. The Broadway team was W. M. Clarke, B. Warren and L. Pynsent, N. Galt, M. Galt, and N. Wilcocks, A. Allen, J. Dwoding, J Whitelay, M. Grant and P. Patrick. Mr. L. D. Huddleston was an efficient umpire.
